How Can I Be Saved

How do I begin a relationship with God?

The ABC’s of Salvation explain the way of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ in three simple easy to remember steps. Jesus himself said clearly, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. – John 14:6

The ABCs of Salvation:

A - Accept / Admit you have Sinned, and need a savior

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.  – James 2:10

As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Romans 3:10

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  - Romans 6:23

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

B - Believe on Jesus Christ

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

…The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. – Mark 1:15

Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”– Acts 19:4

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.  Acts 16:31

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.  -1 John 3:23

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  - Ephesians 2:8-9

C - Confess Christ Publicly

…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  - Romans 10:9-10

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.  – Romans 1:16
